HAZWOPER/HAZMAT TECH CERTIFICATION
This 50-hour course addresses health and safety issues relative to general site workers with the potential of exposure to hazardous substances through Canadian based legislation HAZWOPER content. In addition this training will address the next logical step of responding to releases and spills through the Hazardous Material Response content at the technician level (NFPA 472).
ORIENTATION TRAINING (INDUSTRIAL SAFETY TRAINING SYSTEM ISTS)
This DVD based training introduces participants to the basic principles of hazard recognition, evaluation and control. While it is not possible to cover all of the hazards a worker may encounter on a worksite, the operations personnel orientation training has been designed to meet IRP-16 requirements while addressing key legislative requirements and Certificate of Recognition (COR) program training.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY LEADERSHIP
This 40-hour course assists businesses in providing the appropriate training to manage the health and safety issues related to an industrial work force with special attention relating to the equipment often utilized without an understanding of limitations (respiratory/chemical protective clothing, gas detection, spill containment, fire protection). In addition this training will address the next logical step of responding to incidents and emergency situations as a site, area or crew supervisor.
