Highlighted Projects

PETRO CHINA CONSULTATION (in Guangzhou, China) Met with senior level executives/engineers from the pipeline division of Petro China to conduct a comparative analysis between Chinese and Canadian legislative practices and controls. Items addressed included hazardous energy control, ground disturbance/utility locating, toxicology, incident investigation and project focused risk management.

LEGISLATIVE ANALYSIS After multiple incidents relating to the control of hazardous energy a major electrical utility provider commissioned a review and analysis of the company’s standards to determine legislative compliance to the Alberta OHS Code and the level of success relating to implementation and management. The process included the coordination of a project team of both company and client personnel as well as communication with key client stakeholders.

SECURITY ASSESSMENT EVALUATION

Managed a team of security evaluators with a range or expertise (criminal activity exposure, electronic surveillance, building design, reglatory requirements, etc.) in the completion of a all-encompasing assessment of a company’s operations (including banking), buildings and properties located throughout Alberta. The assessment was designed to ascertain the risk and/or vulnerability to targeted criminal activity and/or workplace violence.
